Use less and manage more

Paperless has the ability to keep up and maintain the task of not only reducing your need for paper but managing the paper you use. Simply scan your receipts, warranty cards, deposit slips and other paperwork and Paperless will recognize and help to categorize them for you. Already have your documents as PDFs or other file formats? No problem. Simply drag and drop them into Paperless. By taking your paper receipts, product manuals and other documents and creating an electronic record you’ve already reduced your need for paper.

You need one to have the other. With Paperless, you can create a database for just about everything, storing all sorts of data and documents. From all those product manuals for your tools hanging in your basement to a searchable database of your 2nd grader’s pictures and all the other cool stuff she brings home from school. Store and organize it all, digitally, safely and systematically.

What about all that business and legal stuff?

In many instances, the IRS or other tax authority may accept electronic copies of your receipts. If you have a flexible spending or medical plan at work, you know what a pain it is when the time comes to submit receipts. With Paperless you can create a Smart Collection and keep all your documents neat and tidy and in one place.

Scanners – Mariner and Fujitsu style

Paperless will work with just about any scanner* through the Image Capture method, but we highly recommend that you use a TWAIN compliant scanner. Better yet, use the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300M or S1500M scanner. These scanners have the best drivers on the market. They work so well with Paperless that Mariner and Fujitsu have partnered together so that we can offer a Paperless ScanSnap bundle.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative

What? Sustainable Forestry Initiative – an independent, charitable organization that is dedicated to promoting responsible forest management. Because we can’t get away from using paper, organizations like SFI partner with all sorts of companies so that materials are from only well-managed forests. So, when you see a Paperless box on the shelf at your local retailer, look on the back and you will see the SFI logo and know that Mariner is serious about doing their part because the paper used for it came from a responsible source.

* Scanner Compatibility Notes
Nearly any scanner will work with Paperless through the Image Capture method, however we strongly recommend using a TWAIN compliant scanner or Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M, Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M or Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300. We have found that Fujitsu has the best drivers on the market at this time; your results may vary using any other scanner. If you have problems with your scanner and Paperless, it is likely caused by the scanner drivers. Please contact your scanner vendor for assistance. Some issues have been reported regarding HP and Epson scanners/drivers. Canon, Brother, and Lexmark scanners have also received mixed results. As with any of our products, if you are unsure Paperless will meet your expectations, please feel free to download a trial copy to test in your own environment before purchasing.
